We captured this hand-built proxy clone through a Jensen C12K2 4x12 cabinet using a Neumann U87 microphone via a Captor X load box, delivering the full warmth and air of the original in stunning detail. The pack covers a wide tonal range — from sparkling, pristine cleans to warm edge-of-breakup tones. And yes — we jumped the channels on a couple of clones for that classic Blackface trick that unlocks even more harmonic richness and grit.
